This course focuses on sediment and erosion control items such as temporary and permanent seed, inlet protection, filter fabric or rock ditch checks, and sediment basins or traps. The study material also explains inlet protection that is used to prevent or reduce sediment laden water from entering a storm drain system. The study material presents minimum standards for erosion and sediment controls, post construction storm water pollution prevention, and surface water protection.
